Backstrom Park

 

 

As you continue to travel west on Main, you pass the grade school. The road bends right and becomes highway 508 that leaves town going to Cinebar and Onalaska. This park is on the right and you might miss it in the car. During the summer, when the snow melt is gone and the water is low, it is the swimming hole. Fishing can be good too, I hear.
