Canyonman works for Wester Marine Trucking.
We haul boat all over west coast. This is one of those jobs
that is created for the rich and famous. There are so many
tall tails about this job that I don't know were to start.
Trucker John is moving that oversize load down that highway
or maybe that backroad you live on. Your wondering why I"m in
your way, Well' were on this little side street. for one major reason.
Boats are taller than most other freight so we need over height
routes so we can get around bridge or other structures that the
load will not fit under. A 14ft 9in bridge will eat a 16ft boat for lunch
is you try to go under. This makes us uses the scenic route.

Like this 36 foot Grand Banks is about 2 and half feet to high for the road
Legal high for trucks in most states is 13-6 but here its 14 feet
